This is the prototype of my 11th Doctor sonic replica. This has been replicated directly from the filming props and the resin pieces cast directly off the originals. It has been cleaned up significantly but certain ‘handmade’ deliberate imperfections have been retained as have the assymmetry from the parts cast from the originals. It has been made from water cut and cnc milled aluminium and copper with handle cast in fast cast polyurethane and green clear cast with white and black swirls. Sound has been added to the circuit. A louder custom sound chip will be added to the production version and several components will be combined using screw threading for strength. The production versions will be cleaned up slightly more than this one with better finishing the edges.
